What? More damn pictures?...

The office

Yep, this is it. My new office. It's a lot sparer than my last home office. Only one desk instead of two because of the smaller room and not so much clutter, I hope. The neat thing about this room is that it's got a set of shelves running all along the top which is great because I always run out of bookshelf space.

Oh, what? You don't keep your stuffed animals on your office shelf? Shut up. Don't look at me.

The fireplace

Cosa may be afraid of the pet door, but this is the place that I'm a little scared of because I fear it will eventually be the death of me. I spendway too much time starting fires using firewood from the back yard. The other night I bought an apple cinnammon log and burned it in the fireplace. It's a sickness. I'm obsessed with having a fire on all the time, even when it's not cold. And it's a fireplace with a gas starter, so there's this panic when you don't get the match lit fast enough and you know there's poisonous gas flooding your house. If you hear I died from gas and carbon monoxide inhalation, here's why.

The living room

This is a weird angle and I apologize, but I show it only to point out that bad-ass cabinet there in the corner. That sucker stayed in the house and it's all custom made and huge and wonderful. They could have destroyed three of the rooms and left those shelves and I probably would have bought the house. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to put stereo stuff in it and get wires coming out of it because there are no holes anywhere leading in or out. Hmmm... Do I dare drill?

This shows a little of the cool-ass vaulted ceiling in the living room and my favorite thing: The curvy wall by the door. Love the curvy wall. Have no idea what to do with it, but there's something appealing about a wall that you can't scrape yourself on a corner of.

I'll conclude the tour here with the area leading to the kitchen. See? I left one set of yellow walls for another. That futon has to go, I know. You don't have to tell me. I'm on it.

Next time I have time for a tour: The outside. The crazy backyard and beyond.

Clip Art Corner

It doesn't get much more patriotic than this. I mean, it does, but then that can be silly.
